Education: BA in History from Texas A&M University, College Station, Tx. Graduated December 2003.

Athletic Background: Other than some Little League baseball, triathlon is it. I was always active, but I did little in terms of organized sports.
First Triathlon: Wool Capitol Triathlon in San Angelo, Tx. August 2000.
First Ironman: Ironman California, May 2001.
Favorite Race: Ironman Hawaii and Buffalo Springs Lake Triathlon.
Favorite Workout: Any ride or run with long climbs in the mountains.
Least Favorite Workout: Any swimming done indoors.
Favorite Food: Anything from Goode Company Taqueria in Houston, Texas.
Favorite athlete: My Grandfather, who passed away in May 2007.
Favorite Sporting Memories: As a spectator: Watching Colorado’s Michael Westbrook catch a hail mary to beat Michigan in the last play of the game, 1994. As an athlete; Chasing Jose Jeuland from France for 23 miles at Ironman Hawaii (I do not know that this can be my favorite memory since he beat me by a few seconds… …but nothing has been so intense for me as of yet).
